Forest school is defined as child-led experiences in a natural setting and it fits perfectly with the WDS ethos.

At forest school we can often be found lighting and tending fires in a safe and respectful manner – and cooking meals on them too – learning about the local flora and fauna, going on foraging expeditions, building shelters and playing games. The children literally get to choose their own adventures on the day and we are out in all sorts of weather.
